All About That Bathroom

It's like "all about that bass" but bathroom style hahaha

Anyway, we finally remodeled our master bath!

When we bought this 70s house back in 2014, we ripped all flooring up. We didn't even think about it; we just did it. Anyway, we were able to redo the floors and paint and update pretty much every room but our master bath because we ran out of money for the vanity and such.

Fast forward a year and a half later, we were still walking on bare floors with nails and staples sticking out. We didn't have the motivation and money to redo it haha. But when we decided to adopt back in June, we knew we HAD to do something about that floor because duh, there's no way we would pass the home study with bare wood and nails sticking out. We didn't want to do just the floors with the vanity still looking as is with its yellow sink and some random wood columns, so we saved up some money for the vanity and other things and decided to just go for it.

A week full of late nights, frustration, injuries, things breaking, and lots of sweat later, we have our master finished just in time for the home study on Saturday! My little brother helped me do the demolition a few hours before he flew back to California. RT and I worked on our own for the next few days then our in laws flew into town and helped with finishing projects like vanity, toilet, baseboard, hardware installations.

I am so happy with how it turned out. It will never be this clean looking again but I sure do love it. I'm so thankful for a handy man husband and for family members who are so willing to help! Enjoy the pics!
