Next up on our house tour is the dining room. It's not a dramatic change like the guest bathroom but I am still pretty proud of it.
When we decided to put in an offer on this house, RT asked the homeowners to leave the dining set and the china cabinets. I didn't think they would so I just rolled my eyes and said whatever. To my surprise, they left everything here; including the dining set and the china cabinets. Let's be honest; I was not in love with the dining set and the china cabinets. I had my own ideas of what I wanted our dining room to look like. I even thought about sanding down the dining table and painting or staining it but I was told I was a lunatic for thinking that! So, after much convincing, I agreed to keep the dining set and china cabinets and I must say, I am glad I did! I am not a huge fan of the chandelier so don't pay much attention to it right now. Haha. RT is suppose to make me a mason jar light. We will see when that happens :)
