Our Little Fawn Home | The dining room

So what did you think of the guest bathroom?! I hope you liked it!

Next up on our house tour is the dining room. It's not a dramatic change like the guest bathroom but I am still pretty proud of it.

When we decided to put in an offer on this house, RT asked the homeowners to leave the dining set and the china cabinets. I didn't think they would so I just rolled my eyes and said whatever. To my surprise, they left everything here; including the dining set and the china cabinets. Let's be honest; I was not in love with the dining set and the china cabinets. I had my own ideas of what I wanted our dining room to look like. I even thought about sanding down the dining table and painting or staining it but I was told I was a lunatic for thinking that! So, after much convincing, I agreed to keep the dining set and china cabinets and I must say, I am glad I did! I am not a huge fan of the chandelier so don't pay much attention to it right now. Haha. RT is suppose to make me a mason jar light. We will see when that happens :)

I plan to reupholster the chairs :)

Maps of where we are from :)

Ok, see that old looking thing?! It is an intercom and radio system! Sadly, the intercom no longer works but the radio still works perfectly! Never getting rid of it! So cool and keeps the history of the home!

This clock was given to us as a wedding gift by RT's uncles :)

How perfect is this?! My mother in law gave me this china set for Christmas BEFORE we bought the house. It's like she knew!
