I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween yesterday! We sure did!
I love Halloween. It is my second favorite holiday (after Christmas of course). I love carving pumpkins, decorating with skulls and candy corn, baking Halloween cookies, and duh, the dressing up. I love that for one day, we can be whatever we want to be and we won't get weird looks for it. I wish I could dress up everyday.
Last night, our newest friends here in SA threw a Halloween party and it was so much fun. RT and I dressed up as bandits and even though it was nothing super fancy and I barely spent any money on the costumes, it was my favorite costume for the two of us so far. Also, I have to point out that RT made that shirt himself. Points to that gorgeous husband of mine!
The hostess made chili and it was so yummy! I made mummy dogs (just think pigs in a blanket) and coffin sugar cookies. We also had other goodies like corn bread, Oreo bites, pumpkin pie, cake, and of course CANDY! We had a costume contest, "guess how much candy is in the jar" game, and a PINATA!!!!! I have to say that the pinata was my favorite part! I just kept swinging left to right, left to right and eventually destroyed the thing! So fun!
The hostess and her husband had the best costumes hands down! It made me laugh so hard. I'm still laughing about it actually! They dressed up as each other and it was perfect!
